AREAS AFFECTED: Northern High Plains; Eastern Glacier, Western Toole, and Central Pondera; Eastern Toole and Liberty; Southern High Plains; Eastern Pondera and Eastern Teton; Cascade County below 5000ft; Gates of the Mountains
DESCRIPTION: Patchy dense fog will continue through 9 and 10 AM this morning for areas east of the Rocky Mountain Front to the I-15 corridor from Craig to Sweet Grass. Travelers should be prepared for visibilities as low as a quarter of mile at times. Be prepared for changing visibility over short distances. Slow down, allow extra spacing between vehicles, and turn on your low beam headlights when driving through fog.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.

Freezing rain is a condition where precipitation which has fallen in the form of
